Thin Thoughts: Shopping for Skinny Clothes

Visualization is a great technique that can help you adjust your vibrational frequency closer to that of a slender person - but some people have a hard time "seeing" the details. If you have trouble visualizing images in your mind, today I'm going to share an exercise from the Inner Weight Loss book that will be extremely helpful.

One of the things that many people look forward to while losing weight is buying new clothes in smaller sizes that they feel good wearing. In fact, just the thought of doing that probably makes you feel happy and excited right now! As often as possible, you want to stimulate those feelings of happiness and excitement because they do wonders in boosting your vibration.

A very fun and easy way to do this is to start shopping for your new wardrobe NOW. Not physically since you can’t yet try on the clothing in smaller sizes, but by mentally shopping in catalogs and online. Choose photos of models wearing the style of clothing you want to wear, cut them out and begin pasting them into a scrapbook or notebook.

If you want to make it even more personal to you, take a photograph of yourself and make photocopies of it, then cut your head out of the copies and paste it over the heads of the models.

That may sound funny but it really helps your subconscious mind connect the images to your own self-image.

Make it a daily practice to work on this scrapbook if you can – either adding pictures to it or at least looking at the pictures you already have. If you can’t do it daily, at least do it a few times a week.

Besides making you feel happy and excited, there is another powerful benefit to this exercise.

You will be frequently focusing your attention on slender, beautiful people with body sizes and shapes that YOU would like to have, and they will be wearing clothing that YOU would like to wear – and you will be imagining YOURSELF being slender and wearing them . . . and how do you think the Law of Attraction will respond to that type of focus?
